Too old to Dream

SYNOPSIS

Lyn had lost her five-year-old brother, Monty, in an accident at an opencast coalmine on Arral Mountain in Wales in 1924. Too Old to Dream is a ten-minute cinema short featuring a cast of eleven, six of whom were over 75. The film depicts Lyn’s wish of growing up and always imagining and wanting Monty by her side. Too Old to Dream was scripted by Ennis and Cohen and directed and produced by Paul Islwyn Thomas with music by John Rea, and was premiered at Chapter Cinema , Cardiff in June 1998.
