With financial support from Creative Wales we explored new approaches to film release campaigns, all designed to bring Welsh film to audiences and Wales’ message to the world, shaping perception of Welsh culture at home and abroad.

This year has been a big year for films with Welsh connections, with a whopping 20 key releases supported by the Made in Wales (MIW) project. From Oed Yr Addewid to On Becoming a Guinea Fowl, we developed assets that included interviews, articles, press releases and support packs, all in the name of celebrating Welsh film on the big screen. - Made in Wales highlights 2023/24
We’ve been in planning mode this year, with a big slate of anticipated films hitting our screens in Summer / Autumn 2024/25. While we’ve been busy interviewing talent, working with distributors and sharing previews, we got to watch new talent Carly-Sophia Davies on the big screen (The Eternal Daughter) and cult classic Twin Town went on tour with Director Kevin Allen. We started a new space on Instagram to keep audiences up to date with new films, launching with a special interview for The Almond and the Seahorse. - Made in Wales highlights 2022/23
It’s been a busy year for Made in Wales! We saw international docs, features and two Welsh language films – with Y Sŵn playing in over 30 Welsh screens, following on the heels of critically acclaimed horror; Gwledd. We’ve been busy interviewing talent, sharing previews, writing articles, generating press and advising distributors on their Welsh release strategies. - Made in Wales highlights 2021/22
