SYNOPSIS

Kësulat’ addresses the subject of the Kosovo war from the point of view of a Serbian family. Set in 1999, in a small village in Kosovo, near the Serbian border. Dragani (Ismail Kasumi) is a Serbian teacher, living with his wife, Slavica (May-Linda Kosumovic) and father Milan (Nuhi Matoshi).  They are the only Serbian family in the village. Albani (Bislim Muçaj), is a doctor who lives with his father Tefiku (Selman Jusufi) and mother Xhevri (Meli Qena). He is a good and principled man respected by the whole community. He cares for and befriend Dragani and his family. Besnik (Jimi Tihofsi) is full of anger over the Serbs who murdered his father. He joins the Kosovo Liberation Army. When the doctor continues to visit the Serb family tensions rise. As Serbian forces invade the village relations between the families break down.
