Made in Wales Meetings
In early 2018 FHW brought together a collection of organisations working in film in Wales, from broadcasters, to training bodies, funders and filmmakers, for the first quarterly Made in Wales meeting. The idea is to improve communication between the various organisations and find strategic ways to boost the profile of Welsh made content.
The first step is to present a list of Welsh film organisations on the new Screen Alliance Wales portal, so that it’s easier for anyone interested in film to find out about opportunities in Wales. In future, the group may evolve to lobby on behalf of the sector.
