Hwb y Gors, is a low carbon Arts, Enterprise and Education Centre; a hub for community connections, ideas and collaboration. The former Cwmgors Primary School dating from 1912 has been repurposed maintaining the much-loved features of the school whilst retrofitting with a ground source heat pump, 90kwh of solar on the roof, natural cork insulation and a sustainable drainage scheme. Hwb y Gors now has a community café, co-working studios and enterprise spaces, education facilities, a community electric transport scheme, energy advice programme, and a community garden.

They open in September 2025 and will offer a programme of events and workshops through mixed art forms featuring heritage crafts and film.
