Protein: The Whole Story

From the creators of Welsh Sci-Fi Canaries, Protein is a blend of blackly-comic thriller, nuanced character drama and grisly cannibal horror released on Friday 13 June.

To support the UK release we have an introduction with the film’s Welsh actor and producer Craig Russell, as well as commissioning an article on Welsh Horror by Abertoir: Horror Film Festival’s co-director Nia Edwards-Behi, featured in the June issue of Buzz magazine.

 

A gym obsessed serial killer murders and eats a local drug dealer for their protein, inadvertently sparking a brutal and bloodthirsty tit-for-tat turf war between rival drug gangs.
