YMa is a re-imagining of the Pontypridd YMCA building which was opened in 1910 on the main high street of Pontypridd Town Centre. Pontypridd YMCA and Artis Community Cymuned formed a partnership to deliver a new vision for the redeveloped building having secured funding from Arts Council of Wales and Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council.
YMa is a new Place for Culture, Creativity and the Arts in Pontypridd, welcoming people of all ages, backgrounds, cultures and experiences reflected within their communities, in a way that is accessible for everyone.
