Transgender Awareness

Yn 2014, trefnodd Canolfan Ffilm Cymru Sesiwn Ymwybyddiaeth Trawsryweddol, gyda Equiversal, i godi ymwybyddiaeth a dealltwriaeth o’r materion sy’n wynebu trawsrywwyr ym maes cyflogaeth a mynediad at wasanaethau.

This led to a further session with Equiversal, Iris Outreach Limited and Trans*Form Cymru, as part of our Opening Doors Development Day.

• The difference between gender identity and gender expression.
• The journey face by transgender people.
• The barriers and discrimination faced experienced by transgender people.
• The need to promote greater exceptance and rights for all transgender people.
• Equality legislation in relation to transgender people.
• How venues can become more transgender-friendly for audiences.
