H is for Hawk: The Whole Story

@ Lionsgate UK

Love, loss and the wild. H is for Hawk, an adaptation of best selling 2014 memoir by Helen Macdonald, from Welsh producer John Giwa-Amu, is out 23 January 2026.

To support the UK release, we have created a support pack featuring programming recommendations and assets, which exhibitors can share with audiences to promote the film’s Welsh connections.

Gan groniclo stori wir Helen Macdonald (Claire Foy), sy’n colli ei thad, ffoto-ohebydd uchel ei barch (Brendan Gleeson), i drawiad ar y galon, mae’r ffilm hon yn gweld Helen yn dod o hyd i gysur annisgwyl yng nghwmni gwalch gogleddol ystyfnig o’r enw Mabel. Yr her o hyfforddi gwalch glas ifanc fydd ei golau arweiniol drwy’r broses alaru ac mae ei chwlwm unigryw â Mabel yn ei hailgyflwyno i harddwch bywyd a byd natur.
