Iris on the Move 2026

In 2026, Iris will be celebrating their 20th anniversary — marking two decades of sharing global LGBTQ+ stories & Cardiff Charm with audiences everywhere. Before the main festival (12–18 October 2026, Vue Cinema Cardiff), they’re taking Iris on the road once again! Sponsored by S4C and supported by Film Hub Wales as part of the BFI Film Audience Network (FAN), made possible by the National Lottery.

They have 6 films in two standout programmes including Welsh language shorts Y Tolldy a Never, Never, Never, and for the first time, a feature film 3000 Lesbians Go To York. The short films are available to book as two curated packages ‘Iris 2025: Best Bits‘ and ‘When Love Broke the Law‘, or individually and prices at £50 per programme or £100 for the feature.
