Better Go Mad in the Wild

A funny valentine to the fading art of being true to yourself, Miro Remo’s delightfully inventive documentary Better Go Mad in the Wild is a portrait of bickering brothers who may live a weird, off-grid life on their dilapidated farm but who, in a world as mad as ours, actually might be the sanest people on earth.

Franta and Ondra are inseparable twins whose harmonious life starts to unravel, leading to both a poignant and comic tale of separation, reconciliation, and possible reunion, exploring what remains when a shared world crumbles. This magical documentary was the winner of the Crystal Globe Grand Prix at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival 2025.
