Calon Llanelli currently operate ‘The Entertainment Centre’, originally built in 1938 as one of the original streamlined Odeon cinemas, and are working alongside Welsh Government and Carmarthenshire County Council to refurbish the building into a multi-purpose concert hall, cinema, cafe and bar. Once it’s ready, they’ll be delivering a community programme with strong slate of independent movies, art house and world cinema, Welsh language films, student shorts as well as the classics and films that can be shown on 35mm.
