Introduction to Documentary Resource

This one to five-week ‘Introduction to Documentary’ course by filmmaker and researcher Ben Ewart Dean (with the support of Chapter / Film Hub Wales) can be used to lead short discussion groups and workshops after documentary screenings. It’s designed to support life-long learning and connection amongst cinema and festival audiences.

Split into two parts, the course covers a general introduction for participants to learn about the medium, followed by a handout for your team to use after subsequent screenings.

Also included is an interview with Steve Sullivan Director of Being Frank: The Chris Sievey Story, one of the suggested films for the course.
