A Biodiverse Big Screen: Programming for our Planet

© Fire of Love (Dogwoof), Eyes of the Orangutan (Borneo Orangutan Survival) To The End (Journeyman Pictures), Deep Sea (Fortissimo Films), Luzzo (Peccadillo Pictures) Maxima (Stand with Maxima), Fashion Reimagined (Met Films)
From microbes to mountain lions, plants to people, the variety of life on our planet is incredible and all at risk.

Climate emergency is the defining issue of our time. Where do we begin to make change?

Film is a hugely powerful tool to communicate and enable action. Cinema offers us a chance to connect with people, places and wildlife across the natural world.

With environmental sustainability also forming part of our BFI FAN funding criteria, we’ve put together a selection of films covering everything from sustainable farming, to post-apocalyptic adventure, designed to support programming.

This pack includes just a selection, find a detailed list of over 280 titles below.
