Wales International Documentary Festival Returns In 2018

Wales International Documentary Festival will return in 2018.

The festival will take place between April 18-20 in  Blackwood, Carephilly, with a schedule of premiere screenings, industry panels, and masterclasses.

Lauched in 2016, the festival will feature locally-produced films, as well as documentaries from across the globe, at venues such as the Maxime Cinema and the Blackwood Miner’s Institute, as well as outdoor pop-ups.

Past festivals have seen panel discussions featuring key decision makers and comissioners from all major broadcasters and filmakers such as Andre Singer, Eva Tomanova and Jack Petrycki.

Submissions for the 2018 festival are open now. These can range from micro-docs to full length features, with all levels of experience welcome. Deadline is September 30. You can apply here.
