Animation Inspiration: Discover over 100 Animated Films for your Programme

Anim18: A Celebration of British Animation took place between April and November 2018. Led by Film Hub Wales / Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff, the project aimed to raise the profile of British animation, to showcase the innovative and diverse nature of the art form, to recognise that animation is not solely for young audiences and to celebrate the talent involved in its creation with audiences, exhibitors and funders alike. Our goal was to support the development of a more collaborative, inclusive and sustainable British animation sector.

During the season, we curated over 100 features and shorts packages. which traced British stories in international animation, explored everything from politics to heritage, new technology and childhood favourites. While the season has now ended, you can still explore the film list and find the rights information for each film.
