Abertoir is the only international genre film festival in Wales and is committed to providing an educational, diverse and exciting event that has now become known worldwide.
Six days of talks, guests, film with live commentary, educational presentations, Q&As with filmmakers, specially written articles, discussions, classic screenings and a selection of the newest films from major film festivals worldwide – all screening in Wales for the very first time.

WOW Wales One World Film Festival has been celebrating the riches of world cinema since 2001, bringing an eclectic, intriguing, and moving selection of films from around the globe to cinemas across Wales.
WOW’s central mission is to offer films and events that represent diverse cultures and identities on and off screen and has been bringing new, diverse and younger audiences into our partner cinemas to see a wide range of films that would not otherwise be seen by audiences in Wales.
PROJECT: PSYLENCE
ORGANISATION: Pontio, Bangor
PSYLENCE is a three day event that is a celebration of cinema’s unique ability to fuse music and image and sound to create magic.
Events use image and sound in innovative ways and also turn the cinema into an active performance space for our specially invited artists. Performance is complemented by discussion, engagement and wide participating with outside outside local and national groups.
ORGANISATION: Wales International Documentary Festival (WIDF)
WIDF will celebrate British and international documentary film by making a database of WIDF winners and shorts available to venues across Wales for booking. Circa10 screenings will take place across Wales with promotional materials and Q&As with film makers where available.
