The Memorial Hall in New Quay was built to remember those who left the town, never to return, in World War 1 and World War 2. The hall is a wonderful auditorium and is used by many varied clubs and societies from New Quay and surrounding area and is a focal point for the community and visitors alike.
due to budget restrictions the local authority is no longer able to fund the repair and upkeep of the hall which currently requires at least £250,000 worth of work to bring it up to a minimum usable standard. Whilst applications are being made for grants and lottery funding, ongoing fundraising events are organised by the Friends of the Memorial Hall (Save New Quay Memorial Hall
