New Quay Memorial Hall

Film Hub Wales Member

The Memorial Hall in New Quay was built to remember those who left the town, never to return, in World War 1 and World War 2. The hall is a wonderful auditorium and is used by many varied clubs and societies from New Quay and surrounding area and is a focal point for the community and visitors alike.
November 2018: due to budget restrictions the local authority is no longer able to fund the repair and upkeep of the hall which currently requires at least £250,000 worth of work to bring it up to a minimum usable standard. Whilst applications are being made for grants and lottery funding, ongoing fundraising events are organised by the Friends of the Memorial Hall (Save New Quay Memorial Hall).
